Poland strengthens its position in the development of responsible AI in healthcare

PublishedOctober 26, 2026

Poland is joining the Global Regulatory Network, an international collaboration dedicated to the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The Ministry of Health has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HealthAI, an international organisation promoting the responsible development and use of AI in healthcare.

This marks another step in Poland’s ongoing digital healthcare transformation. The country is developing AI-powered solutions while building public trust in new technologies, strengthening safeguards for their safe use, and fostering international partnerships.

Joining the Global Regulatory Network will enable Poland to deepen its involvement in international cooperation on AI in healthcare. The network facilitates the exchange of expertise between public administrations and regulators, as well as collaboration on the safe and responsible implementation of AI.

Poland is consistently advancing its digital healthcare transformation, with artificial intelligence serving as one of its key drivers. We want not only to implement new technologies, but also to build trust in them and play an active role in international cooperation on their safe use. Joining the Global Regulatory Network strengthens Poland’s position as a partner in the global dialogue on the future of AI in healthcare.

In practice, Poland’s participation in the Global Regulatory Network will involve continued engagement by Polish experts in international initiatives on AI in healthcare, including expert groups, panel discussions and strategic dialogue with public administrations and regulators from other countries.

This will give Poland opportunities to exchange expertise, share its own solutions and help shape approaches to the safe and responsible use of AI in healthcare.
