In response to growing demand for genetic consultations, the Laboratoire national de santé (LNS, National Health Laboratory of Luxembourg) is continuing to develop its services to increase its capacity for patient consultations and further strengthen its medical expertise.
Renovation works to improve its consultation facilities, together with the expansion of its medical team, are part of this ongoing development and aim to better meet patients’ evolving needs.
Starting on November 2nd, and for a period of several weeks, the LNS will carry out renovation works to expand the area dedicated to genetic consultations and create an additional consultation room. These improvements will increase the service’s consultation capacity, enabling the LNS to respond to growing demand for genetic consultations.
During this period, clinical genetic consultations normally held at the LNS in Dudelange will temporarily take place at the premises of the Directorate of Health in Strassen.
At the same time, the clinical genetics team is being progressively strengthened to further consolidate the service’s expertise and support the development of its activities.
