11,000 students, thousands of ideas and one common cause — health. The 18th edition of the National Student Competition “Ambassadors of Health” concluded with an impressive turnout, showing that young people do not just talk about healthy lifestyles, but also take action to make them a reality.
At the award ceremony for the finalists, Minister of Health Katya Ivkova congratulated the students on their energy, creativity and determination to make a difference in the world around them.

“You are an example to all of us of what we can achieve when we believe in our ideas and work together. To me, you are the future health diplomats and the pride of Bulgaria,” said Minister Ivkova.
She emphasised that, over its 18 editions, the competition has grown into much more than a student contest — it has become a shared cause that brings together children, teachers, parents and institutions.

“It is particularly inspiring to see how young people turn their knowledge into initiatives and their ideas into tangible change,” the Minister of Health noted.
Through sport, physical activity, creativity and care for nature, students show that health has many dimensions and that good habits start with personal example. Minister Ivkova also highlighted the importance of caring for both physical and mental health from an early age.
She thanked the teachers, parents and partners of the Ministry of Health for their support, stressing that every student who invested effort and inspiration in their project deserved recognition.

“Let health be your conscious choice, and your desire to make the world a better place your constant inspiration,” Minister Ivkova said.

The competition is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the State Agency for Child Protection, the World Health Organization Country Office in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross and the National Center of Public Health and Analyses.
