Litilit’s €6M laser factory in Vilnius is officially open for business

PublishedOctober 19, 2026

A major milestone for one of Lithuania’s strongest sectors – Litilit’s new €6 million laser factory in Vilnius marks an important step forward for Lithuanian high-tech manufacturing. With over 12 years of experience, Litilit develops and delivers fiber lasers and related components for industrial, medical, and scientific applications.

As the Litilit team puts it: “We didn’t just open a new factory. We opened a new chapter for Lithuanian high-tech manufacturing.”

The company aims to produce up to 1,000 ultrashort-pulse lasers in its first year of operation, increasing annual production capacity to 3,000 within the next few years.

From an idea born in a laboratory to industrial-scale manufacturing – this is what happens when science, engineering, ambition, and determination come together.

A huge thank you to the incredible Litilit team, its partners, and everyone who believed in this vision. We’re proving that Lithuania can not only invent world-class technologies but also manufacture them on a global scale.
