Antibiotice received the “Best Annual Report” award at the 2026 ARIR Gala, organised by the Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR) on 6 October at the National Library of Romania.
The award recognises the quality of the company’s 2025 Integrated Annual Report, which provides a comprehensive overview of its financial results, sustainability performance and strategic development priorities.
The report was prepared in accordance with European sustainability reporting standards, reaffirming Antibiotice’s commitment to transparency and responsible communication with investors and other stakeholders.
The jury praised the report’s clarity and structure, the way it presents financial and sustainability information, and its accessible, interactive format.
In 2025, Antibiotice continued to reduce its carbon footprint through measures implemented across its own operations and energy consumption, as well as in collaboration with supply-chain partners. As a result, greenhouse gas emissions associated with the company’s operations and energy consumption fell by almost 28% compared with the 2019 baseline and by more than 6% compared with 2024. Emissions associated with the supply chain decreased by 18% year on year.
The company also reused and recycled approximately 20% more water than in 2024 and reported no environmental incidents or non-compliance issues during the year.
In 2025, Antibiotice achieved a staff retention rate of almost 98% and continued to invest in employee development. Through projects funded by European programmes, approximately 500 pupils and university students took part in internships and training programmes at the company.

In its dealings with business partners, the company introduced a Code of Conduct for Partners in 2025. The document sets out expectations regarding ethical conduct, the prevention of corruption and fraud, respect for human rights, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and social responsibility throughout the value chain. It is underpinned by a zero-tolerance approach to corruption and bribery.
For the first time, Antibiotice also assessed suppliers accounting for 80% of its total purchases from an environmental, social and governance (ESG) perspective. Of those suppliers, 42% were classified as low-risk. The company also reported no cybersecurity or personal data protection incidents.

The “Best Annual Report” award adds to Antibiotice’s track record of recognition for its commitment to transparent and responsible reporting on corporate performance and sustainability progress.

Other distinctions include the EcoVadis Gold Medal, Gold-level recognition in the CST Index Romania 2025, the “Best ESG Performance & Communication” award at the 2025 ARIR Gala, and the “Best Practice Award for Human Capital Development”.
