During her visit to the operating theatre at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL), Ms Martine Deprez, Minister of Health and Social Security, attended a surgical procedure performed using the new da Vinci 5 surgical robot.
The Minister also visited the operating rooms where procedures were being performed by doctors from the Traumatology Department and the National Neurosurgery Service.
The visit continued with a tour of the CHL scheduling and coordination unit, an organisational initiative designed to optimise the coordination of care and improve the quality of patient care, ensuring that each patient receives an appropriate and optimal care pathway.
