The Ministry of Health of Cyprus has launched a public consultation on the proposed “Doctors (Medical Negligence Insurance) Regulations of 2026”.
The purpose of the regulations is to establish the procedures and conditions for mandatory insurance covering civil liability arising from professional negligence.
The Ministry of Health is inviting all interested parties to submit their opinions, comments and observations electronically through the e-Consultation platform by September 18, 2026.
