CTGCT Day 2026 invites researchers, clinicians, biotechnology professionals, and regulatory experts to submit original research abstracts for presentation at the conference. The meeting will bring together leaders from academia, clinical research, industry, and regulatory bodies to discuss recent scientific advances and translational developments in cell, tissue, and gene therapies.
The conference aims to foster collaboration and showcase innovative research that advances next-generation therapeutic technologies and clinical applications. Submissions for a poster or oral presentation are invited in but not limited to the following areas:
- Gene therapy
- Cell therapy
- Emerging ATMPS in clinical development
- Manufacturing and translation
- Regulatory and ethical aspects
The CTGCT Day 2025 is an event open to the whole ecosystem of biotechnology and development of gene and cell therapies. This year registration will be free but the spaces are limited. Priority will be given to those who have submitted a contribution to the event.

The Centre for the Technologies of Gene and Cell Therapy was funded in September 2024, after the NIC received a grant and the mission to start a project that would focus on creating a pipeline of biomedical tools focused on the development of therapeutic solutions for rare genetic diseases and difficult-to-treat cancers. The CTGCT is an infrastructure center within the NIC and a European Center of Excellence (CoE).
