Hungary will participate in the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) for the first time as the event’s Guest of Honor Country. Taking place from 23 to 27 September 2026 in Hangzhou, one of China’s leading technology and innovation hubs, the expo will bring together an international professional audience.
At the Hungarian pavilion, 13 companies and institutional partners will showcase the diversity of Hungarian expertise and export-ready solutions.
Health innovation is also represented at the Hungarian pavilion, with 77 Elektronika and MEDICOR Diagnosztika showcasing their medical technologies.
77 Elektronika has been developing, manufacturing and selling medical and in vitro diagnostic equipment for more than three decades. The Hungarian-owned company offers its own blood glucose monitoring devices, urine diagnostic systems and other medical electronics solutions on international markets, exporting its products to numerous countries around the world.
MEDICOR Diagnostics develops and manufactures X-ray diagnostic equipment. The company provides modern X-ray systems for a range of healthcare institutions, including remote-controlled and mobile devices. Its solutions support the day-to-day work of diagnostic services in hospitals and other healthcare settings.
The scale of the event is reflected in the results of previous editions. The GDTE 2025 brought together 1,812 exhibitors from 154 countries and regions, including 381 international companies, while more than 42,000 professional buyers attended the event.
During the five-day expo, the total value of investment and trade agreements reached RMB 161.98 billion, equivalent to approximately HUF 7.6 trillion.
