The 8th Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare will take place in Malmö on 1 October, bringing together organisations and professionals working on sustainability in healthcare.
The programme will address key areas including reducing environmental impact, reporting, sustainable procurement, climate mitigation and adaptation, de-toxification, prevention, engagement and investment.
Speakers and participants will include representatives from healthcare organisations, public authorities, research institutions, industry and European organisations.
Confirmed speakers include representatives from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, Danish Regions, Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust, Region Stockholm, Region Skåne, Trinity College Dublin, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and Health Proc Europe.
The conference will also include an exhibition area and opportunities for participants from different sectors and countries to exchange information and discuss approaches to sustainable healthcare.
