eXRt Intelligent Healthcare develops ReSynk VR rehabilitation platform for stroke recovery

PublishedAugust 9, 2026

Developed by eXRt Intelligent Healthcare in collaboration with the Stroke Association, the new ReSynk app enables stroke survivors to access and manage their rehabilitation from home.

The app is designed to support greater independence throughout recovery, while providing access to rehabilitation resources and support.

It is available now on the App Store and Google Play.

Delivering effective stroke rehabilitation can be challenging for therapists, who are increasingly expected to support more patients across different settings while maintaining evidence-based practices and high standards of care.

eXRt founder, Dr Dominic Holmes, witnessed the challenges of stroke recovery firsthand after a stroke in his family, including long waiting lists, disengaging therapy and paper-based assessments that could not effectively track progress.

Today, Resynk is undergoing clinical validation across the UK and Europe, with NHS pilot sites and real-world trials underway. What began as a personal mission has become a scalable solution for clinicians everywhere.

eXRt is the first platform to provide validated stroke assessments using motion tracking and computer vision, enabling clinicians to deliver measurable, repeatable and customised care at scale.
