JSC Grindeks has registered betamethasone valerate cream in the United Kingdom, marking the company’s first corticosteroid product to enter the UK market. The product was registered through the national procedure and was developed by the JSC Grindeks R&D team in accordance with applicable European regulatory requirements.
Manufacturing of the betamethasone valerate cream has been transferred to Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS (Tallinn Pharmaceutical Plant). The production facility has been developed to support consistent product quality, efficient manufacturing and compliance with applicable regulatory standards for both Grindeks’ own products and contract manufacturing projects.
Tallinn Pharmaceutical Plant has an annual production capacity of more than 5 million tubes, supporting the manufacture of semi-solid products containing potent active ingredients.
In addition to manufacturing products for the Grindeks Group, Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS provides contract manufacturing services to international partners. Its manufacturing capabilities and available capacity allow the facility to undertake the production of a range of complex semi-solid pharmaceutical products.
