The 2026 Innovation Challenge focused on transforming health and social care through digital innovation, collaboration, and emerging technologies. As a finalist in the Home First category, Mediktor showcased how AI can support more efficient, patient-centred healthcare while helping health systems deliver smarter, more connected services.

“At Mediktor, we believe that the future of healthcare lies in combining advanced technology with clinical expertise and a human touch. We want to help millions of people get faster and better access to the care they need, while contributing to more sustainable healthcare systems,” says Cristian Pascual, CEO and co-founder of Mediktor.

“Digital triage is key to ensuring that every patient receives the appropriate level of care at the right time. Proper triage helps avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency room without compromising patient safety,” adds Oscar Garcia-Esquirol, CMO of Mediktor.
